NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in the Council Chambers, 215 Main St., Brookneal, Virginia, at 7:00 PM on the proposed series of increases by the Town of Brookneal of its sewer base rate from the existing $18.50 per sewer customer to a base rate of
- $20.50 for FY 24/25 (July 2024-June 2025)
- $22.50 for FY 25/26 (July 2025-June 2026)
- $24.50 for FY 26/27 (July 2026-June 2027)
Any person who wishes to present his or her views on the proposed sewer increase will have an opportunity to do so at this meeting.

- $29.50 for FY 24/25(July 2024-June 2025)
- $31.50 for FY 25/26(July 2025-June 2026)
- $33.50 for FY 26/27(July 2026-June 2027)
Any person who wishes to present his or her views on the proposed series of water increases will have an opportunity to do so at this meeting.
